Blood Moon. . . or Blood-Stained Savior?

watch the eclipse in a minute's time right HERE!

The photo kinda reminds me of what is about to take place this week. . . It IS HOLY WEEK, you know.  I DID stay up until 4 am watching and being mesmerized by the amazing hue of the moon around 3:45 am.  The blood that was shed for our sins; such an act of love. Good Friday is approaching.  I was thinking of how we are called as Christians, to die with Christ, and Rise anew with Him, through our baptism.  I got thinking that as the moon begins to pass through the prenumbral phase of the eclipse (shadow of the earth, where the moon is waxing, with no color difference yet), so we are becoming renewed, our old self is vanishing away, and we are heading for the coming out on the other side, but before that, we are getting deeper to the center of our conversion, or transformation (numbral), as we are directly in the shadow (of God), we are dying with Christ and becoming a new light in the making, made to ultimately reflect Him, as the moon reflects the sun . . . as we are washed in His Saving Blood.  And afterwards, we come through dazzling white on the other side.  We cannot attain that glory, to reflect the Son (Sun), until we pass through the shadow, and are made anew.  This is also what Christ showed us this Easter weekend.  The moon last night also encouraged me to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet (it was during the 3 o'clock hour, anyhow), for God's Mercy to pour out upon us all, at the site of the red moon.  What a privilege it is to receive His Mercy.  He gives us so many obvious signs without them having to be "huge" miracles.  Let's think about that. . . . and appreciate the small miracles of everyday 'normal', and remember the HUGE sign that is already in that small package.  As Moms, I know we can relate to that without much thought!
Enjoy your babies, no matter their size, today!  God loves you.

Peace, Margaret

Hello, motherhood. Been busy. . . alright?

As it is. . . .2:20 am. . . and here I am typing up a new post, after giving a makeover or whatever to my blog post. It feels rather great, though!  I have been so busy with life lately, the blog was kinda ignored.  But, I am getting myself back into this, because I feel it is important, because I have important things to share.  For now, I will rest, because I have a busy day of housecleaning, laundry, organizing, and spring cleaning to tackle.  This also, of course, includes taking my winter decor down, and packing it away. . . . finally. . . anyone else with busy mom syndrome still decorating for Christmas?  Haha. . . Be back soon.  Check in again.
